STREET DREAMS STUDIOS TOKYOは2024年8月10日（土）より、アーティストのカリン・ローレンスとシュリ・モンマ・リコ、山内あいなによるグループ展「EARTH ANGELS」を開催いたします。
今回のグループ展では、個人のアイデンティティや女性らしさ、そして地球との個人的なつながりをテーマに探求する、3人の新進アーティストの作品が展示されます。展覧会のタイトル「EARTH ANGELS」は、女性の視点からの力強さを積極的に表現しており、”見る人たちやアートの世界へと深い人間関係を引きつける”事をコンセプトにしています。
この展示に参加している3名のアーティストは、女性・アート・コミュニティの繋がりの中で、自分たちの持つアイデンティティ（個性）を力強く、恥ずかしげもなく表現しています。今回の展示では、肖像画やテキスタイルから抽象的なジェスチャーペインティングまで、女性アーティストの作品をご覧いただけます。

KALIN LAWRENCE｜カリン・ローレンス

東京を拠点とするマルチメディア アーティスト。アーティストとして、さまざまなクリエイティブメディアを横断するカリンは、自然と健康を探求するテーマを中心に研究と創作を行っている。またコミュニティベースのクリエイティブ & エクスペリエンス プラットフォームである「Tokyo Love Hotels」の共同設立者でもある。
RIKO SHURI-MONMA｜シュリ・モンマ・リコ

シュリ・モンマ・リコは、ニュージーランド出身で東京を拠点とする現代美術家。化学エンジニアとしての経験を生かした作品は、科学と考古学の時代を超えた自然の形態と、それに対する人間の解釈を研究したものである。彼女は発見されたさまざまな媒体や古い媒体を駆使し、装飾美術、ラファエル前派の絵画、中世の海図、百科事典的な生物図を参照しながら、人間の知識獲得のより遅いプロセスを再考し、知性と感覚に関するテーマを検証している。
AINA YAMAUCHI｜山内あいな

アーティスト・絵本作家・抽象画家。
ガールズバンド「SILENT SIREN」のベースを担当。
イラストレーターとしての才能も発揮し、バンドのメインアイコンやバンドロゴを制作する。
また、絵本制作企画でコンテストに入賞し、2019年絵本作家デビューし、現在までに2作品をリリースしている。抽象画の個展やポップアップストアの開催も手掛け、2022年1月から株式会社SAYNを立ち上げ、取締役を務める。

STREET DREAMS STUDIOS TOKYO is pleased to announce the opening of the group exhibition “EARTH ANGELS,” featuring artists KALIN LAWRENCE, RIKO SHURI MONMA, and AINA YAMAUCHI. The exhibition will commence on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
This group exhibition explores themes of individual identity, femininity, and personal connections to the Earth through the works of three emerging artists. The title “EARTH ANGELS” actively expresses strength from a female perspective, with the concept of drawing deep human connections to the viewers and the art world.
The three participating artists powerfully and unapologetically express their identities within the context of female art and community. The exhibition will showcase a range of works from portraits and textiles to abstract gesture painting by these female artists.

KALIN LAWRENCE

A multimedia artist based in Tokyo, KALIN LAWRENCE traverses various creative media. As an artist, she focuses on research and creation centered around themes of nature and well-being. She is also a co-founder of "Tokyo Love Hotels," a community-based creative and experience platform.
RIKO SHURI-MONMA

RIKO SHURI-MONMA, a contemporary artist originally from New Zealand and based in Tokyo, utilizes her background as a chemical engineer in her work. Her pieces explore the forms of nature that transcend the realms of science and archaeology, along with human interpretations of these forms. She employs a variety of discovered and historical media, referencing decorative arts, Pre-Raphaelite painting, medieval sea charts, and encyclopedic biological illustrations. Through this, she reconsiders the slower processes of human knowledge acquisition and examines themes related to intellect and sensory experience.
AINA YAMAUCHI

Artist, picture book author, and abstract painter. She plays bass in the girls' band "SILENT SIREN." Demonstrating her talent as an illustrator, she has created the band's main icon and logo. She won a contest in a picture book production project and made her debut as a picture book author in 2019, having released two works to date. She has also held solo exhibitions of her abstract paintings and organized pop-up stores. Since January 2022, she has founded SAYN Inc. and serves as a director.
